Photography Contest Announcement

Calling All Amateur Photographers!!!!

The Friends of the Pomona Public Library are happy to announce a photography contest! It is open to students and adults of all ages. 

SUBJECT

• a person who lives or works in Pomona who reads or listens to books being read
• photographed with his/her favorite book

Be creative, but no nudity, pornography, no obscenities, no gang signs or connections.

THE PHOTO

• Orientation: horizontal (landscape)
• black and white or color
• digital

    One entry per photographer. The photo must be submitted with an official application and subject release form, available from the Friends. 

Entries may be: 

1) dropped off at the Friends of Pomona Public Library bookstore in the library 

2) mailed to Friends of Pomona Public Library

                    P.O. Box 2271 

                    Pomona, CA 91769

3. emailed to fo-ppl@yahoo.com as a .jpeg photo file 

Prizes will be given for first $75 second $50, third $25 and honorable mention.

DEADLINE: December 1, 2010.  No Late Submissions

Applications are now available in the Pomona Public Library Reference Desk and in the Book Nook Bookstore as well as from email fo_ppl@yahoo.com.
